Viburnum 'Eve Price'
Plant Type: ShrubPlant Size: 1.5m x 1m
An easy to accomodate shrub. Its subtle flowers, produced on mass really compliment the dark foliage. A nice cheery addition to the winter garden.
Features: Dark pink flower buds in autumn opening in winter to simple white/pink flowers. Dark coloured berries follow in late summer whilst the beautifully formed leaves last all year round
Uses: Able to withstand wind so great as a hedge (approx. 800mm spacings) Nice and compact so also good for smaller gardens either as a specimen or in a combination shrub border
Combinations: We love planting this shrub with the NZ native Libertia grandiflora. Believe it or not the slight orange tinge that the leaves of the Libertia get really work well with the pinkish tinge of the flowers. Also combines well with Daphne odora 'Alba' and Penstemon 'Husker Red'
