This plant is aptly named and is a little stunner in late summer/autumn.  Every part of this plant can be appreciated and we think it is easy to find a spot in any garden for this deciduous perennial

Features:  Rounded glaucous leaves that form a tight bun, flowers bud up from green through to pink and then finally a dark burgundy/terracotta before dying down in winter

Uses:  Mass planted they lend a structural element of many rounded mounds.  The flower colour makes them ideal for cottage gardens and the long vase life for floral art work.

Combinations:  Liriope muscari, Echinacea purpurea, Hebe ‘Red Edge’

Care:  Minimal care required until it is time to cut off the spent flower heads
