This mid size flax with dusky, brown leaves makes an interesting potted specimen or in a mixed garden of other NZ natives.  We like to team it with burnt orange and coppery colours creating quite a masculine planting scheme

Features: Broad strappy leaves in a medium brown colour

Uses:  Back of borders in a native garden to provide a bit of shelter from the elements for more tender NZ natives

Combinations: Hemerocallis ‘Hunters Torch’ Gazania ‘Sunset Jane’ Carex testacea

Care: Minimal care required, can remove old leaves
