This rare plant is indeed different. Dormant in spring it then sends up bright red flowers with spotted stems followed by huge fleshy green leaves in winter.

Features: Red, paint brush shaped flowers and succulent leaves

Uses: Plant this in a special position where it will get noticed and admired, good for a tropical style garden

Combinations: Arthropodium cirratum, Hosta 'Golden Tiara', Ajuga 'Jungle Beauty'

Care: Minimal but slightly frost tender if the leaves are still on display
