Unusual and beautiful, the Ginkgo is a deciduous tree native to China. Great as a specimen landscape tree providing a shady canopy and vibrant colour
Features: Rough grey-ish bark and large flat fan shaped yellow/green leaves
Uses: This plant tolerates pollution so is well suited to built up or commercial areas. The Ginkgo is nice as a specimen tree placed singularly on a lawn. If used in a garden the Ginkgo mixed with other plants can create an oriental style landscape
Combinations: Pratia angulata, Acer palmatum 'Dissectum', Michelia yunnanensis
