Fraxinus griffithii

General Information

Not wanting to play favourites...but we do love this simple, little, evergreen Ash.  It comes in handy time and time again for when height is required in a restricted space.

Features:  Evergreen tree that forms a 'mop-head' standard with relative ease.  Small shiny leaves with a slight silver underside and fluffy cream flowers in late spring

Uses:  As a specimen tree in small spaces or narrow avenue planting.  The evergreen Ash also form a nice standard.

Combinations:  Libertia grandiflora, Hemerocallis 'Iowa Greenery', Alchemilla mollis for an interesting green and white garden

Care:  Little care required as this is a very disease resitant plant that keep a nice shape without much pruning
