Fascinating perennial with its deep pink/purple flowers with their prominent cones.  A sturdy and compact plant that usually rewards with a repeat flowering in autumn.

Features:  Upright pink/purple flowers with reverse petal

Uses:  Mixed with lots of other perennials for a wild cottage garden, can also be a feature in an herb garden

Combinations:  Penstemon sp, Liriope muscari, Sedum ‘Autumn Joy’

Care:  Can cut back after flowering
