General Information
This beautiful plant resembles a hydrangea although instead of dying down the Dichroa graces the garden with its bold, evergreen foliage Features: Large hydrangea like leaves and masses of small blue, star shaped flowers often starting late spring and carrying on till autumn Uses: Mass plant under a grove of trees or use at the back of a border as a very informal hedge Combinations: Arthropodium cirratum, Sisyrinchium 'Devon Sky's', Hebe 'Waireka' Care: Cut back to about 500mm after flowering and during summer feed with a general fertiliser
