The beautiful colour and form on these small trees is enchanting.  A nice tree for a small section where the deep colour can be fully appreciated

Features:  Deciduous with heart shaped leaves of deep burgundy changing colour with autumn, small pea shape flowers are quite a bright pink

Uses:  In a raised bed, plant in a row for a delicate tree avenue, can also be trained as an espalier against a wall

Combinations: Alchemilla mollis, Hemerocallis 'Cee Tee', Pratia 'Country Park Blue'

Care:  Minimal care needed, can prune late winter or early spring
