[ design process ]
Meeting One - After the free initial discussion, and the plan quote has been accepted, another on-site meeting is scheduled to complete a site analysis. This involves measuring the building, boundary and any other existing features that are to remain, taking digital photographs and in some cases ground levels. Other information is also gathered during this time such as any house and site plans you may already have.
Meeting Two - The base plan is then draughted showing the scaled landscape site and a landscape design is drawn in pencil. A meeting takes place between the designer and client(s) to discuss the design ideas and to make any necessary changes to the plan.
Meeting Three - A final plan is then drawn up and presented to the client along with any supporting material and information.
Plans are to scale, generally A1 in size, ink drawn and laminated. Plans can be used for landscape installation quoting purposes.
The three on site meetings as outlined above are all included in the landscape plan quoted price. Any extra meetings are charged for as an addition. Payment is due at the final presentation stage of the landscape plan.
Once plans are complete you can contract your designer to act as your Project Manager, taking your landscape plan through to a completed landscape installation.
